This portfolio represents my work as both a journalist and writer.
While mediums evolve, my fundamental interest of finding a story, and the most compelling way to express it, remains unchanged; either as a reporter following a thread of curiosity, or as a copywriter articulating an idea or narrative.
as an investigative reporter, my trade is crisis; my craft is humanizing its consequence
I've contributed news and enterprise pieces, narrative non-fiction features, investigative reports, and opinion and editorial columns for mastheads at News Corp. and Fairfax Media, including The Daily Telegraph, News.com.au, The Australian and The Sydney Morning Herald, as well as Latin American digital media companies, Mexico News Daily, Infobae.com and TheBubble.com.
Whether reporting on terrorist attacks in India for news, or researching archaeological provenance in Turkey for copy, I bring the same appetite for unearthing and understanding a story before it can be told.
Finding those pieces is the puzzle; putting them together is a matter of voice.

Originally from Australia, I currently split my time between Mexico City and Brooklyn, New York (by way of Buenos Aires, Argentina). But you can always find me in the simulation:
If not there, I'm either running down a long road or exploring somewhere on walkabout. Give me a shout.
